Built by the Grand Trunk Shops in 1904, nee-GTR 817 - renumbered GTR #1297 in 1910 and again as CN 833 in 1923 when it landed on the CN roster. Specs - serial #1477, E-7-a class, 63" drivers, 180 psi boiler pressure, 21x26" cylinders, engine weight of 177,688lb, tractive effort of 27,846 lb. The loc was retired in September of 1951 and scrapped. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo. |
